Door Step School
The mission of the Door Step School(DSS) is to use innovative programs to bring education to the poor children in urban areas.
DSS conducts classes close to where they live or work. It identifies communities, like migrant workers' children, street children, fishermens' children etc, and tries to establish Non Formal Education classes for them.
Thank You For Participating in the 10th Annual Vibha Dream Mile!
5K Run/Walk | 1 Mile Kids Run | 1 mile Walk
The Dream Mile is the flagship event in Vibha's continued efforts to increase awareness about the plight of underprivileged children. It has come a long way since its inception in 1998. It has grown from being a small event attended primarily by volunteers and friends to a permanent fixture on the calendars of runners in the various cities in America. The increasing participation and enthusiasm for this event just goes to show how strongly people feel about the cause of underprivileged children.
This is the tenth successive year that Vibha-MN is organizing a walk/run event in the Twin Cities, and our first at the Indiafest. The 5K Run event will be chip-timed and awards will be given away in several age categories.
Race-day regsitrations begin at 8:30am. Look for the Registration Tent in front of the Capitol building.
